Vintage Inspired Train Case PDF Sewing Pattern
Are you looking for a new pretty case to hold your jewelry and make-up while you travel or at home? This modern version of the traditional train case has the classic shape and usefulness of the original but is more convenient for the way we travel today.
Special features of the Vintage Inspired Train Case PDF Sewing Pattern include...
~The finished project size is 7''x 6'' x 9'' with 4 interior pockets.
~The case holds it's shape with layers of fusible interfacing, interior pockets, and interior binding but has the flexibility to be folded inside your bag for travel.
~Materials needed are quilting cotton, fusible interfacing (I use pellon 931TD), 20''+ zipper, cotton batting, and a heavy duty needle.
~This is an intermediate beginner project with some challenges of sewing through layers, attaching a zipper and working wiht curves.
~The PDF sewing pattern is delivered immediately after purchase to your email. I recommend printing the pattern piece and cutting guide and using your device to read the instructions while you sew.
I have 3 train cases that I am currently using. One is in my bathroom holding my make-up and beauty supplies. One is on my dresser organizing my jewelry, and one is in my sewing room holding my "on the go" sewing supplies! Although it was designed to hold make-up and jewelry, one of the best features in that it can used to organize so many different things. It also makes a fantastic gift since it is so versatile and useful!
